I just wanted to drop a quick note to let you know that I have posted a new author page for Dorothy Sayers. In my readings of C.S. Lewis, he mentions her several times. She was an amazing writer, poet and playwright. As a contemporary of Lewis, they both gave their own passionate defenses of the Christian faith. Both Lewis and Sayers focused primarily on what Lewis calls “Mere Christianity,” or basically the defense of plain (it’s anything but) old Orthodoxy.
Some of her best known works are her detective novels, but I have mainly stuck to quoting her plays and defense of orthodoxy in a world that was increasingly leaving it behind. One could argue that she saw problems with the modern Christian movement decades before they happened. I hope you enjoy Dorothy Sayers’ page and check out some of her writings
Yours in Christ,
